All vets have an emergency service, if you ring the vets normal number it will either re direct or give you an alternative option. Hope she is ok, but I really think she needs to see the vet asap.
Any news Mirela?

thanks
i cleaned her month again ealier on, she fallen asleep after, i just checked again, seems no more blood come out. she normally went to bed this time and sleep through all night. i will keep eyes on her.
Dogs tongues contain a lot of blood vessels, so if they are cut they do bleed a lot although it is not usually life threatening.
Hope she is ok, at least she will sleep well if she has had a good run.
Do your dog a favour and get rid of the frisby. The dog has bitten its tongue chasing the frisby. Instead throw the dog a stick, a far more natural toy for it.

Hope the bleeding has stopped and the cut isn't too deep.

just took her to garden for wee, and checked again, seems all stopped now, phew... i was panicing.
turanbulam, the frisby is soft plastic one, she s been playing for 2 months, i dont think because of it. i guessed she may jump to catch it, but fell, then head hit the grass, her own teeth hurt her tongue, well, just guess, as i cant see antyhing else could do it. we go to same place play samething everyday last 2 months....never happened before...:(
If you could see the injuries that sticks can cause you'de never throw a stick again. Years ago my friend had a Chow, she often threw sticks for it but one day the stick landed in an upright position and when the dog pounced on it the stick went right through the top of the dog's mouth, the dog died later on that day!
oh poor laila
Definitely no sticks - they are dangerous. A friend of mine had a greyhound (unusual to get one to chase a stick) and it land upright, went through the roof of her mouth and out through her eye socket.

Hey Grav, where were you when you were needed?
ditto no sticks, which is what I initially thought had caused the injury until I re read the post and noticed she had been playing with a frisbee. Glad the bleeding has stopped and all seems ok.

OMG L, that is awful, I have heard of sticks damaging the mouth, but not as severe as your friends accident, what happened to the poor dog?

the naughty girl is fine now, we had lovely walk today, no much running tho. her faverit toy is a plastic pig and the plastic round shape frisbee, but the pig was lost in lake last week, so she only got thepink frisbee now. i dont play with sticks with her anyway. really sorry to hear lankeela and gelda's stories:(

lankeela, dog' s daddy is in far far east, so i will be the only one to take care the naughty at moment:(
