Any will can be contested - but they won't get anywhere
Can't agree Ethel.....this is precisely what brought me to Ab.

My OH Will is being contested (caveat....you may recall). Since May 07 and still not in probate; Court case due in Feb next....will keep you informed of the outcome. Meantime I have not received anything of my OH estate!
As I said, any will can be contested.

I don't know your circumstances, terambulan - apologies if I should.
Provided it was propely drafted and you were of sound mind when it was made it can only be contested by somebody who may be entitled to be a beneficiary under the Inheritance Act 1975.

These are limited to spouses, partners, former spouses, former partners, children, persons treated as children or anybody else who was financially dependant upon the deceased.

The Act applies only in England and Wales. In Scotland slightly different rules apply.
