not sure where to list this query but here goes .I am in the process of restoring a benford dumper & would like to know where I can purchase paint to finish .anywhere in the uk

Benford were bought out by Terex. Try going to the Terex site and ask them if they still do the paint or who their supplier is. http://www.terex.com/main.php?obj=content&acti on=VIEW&nav=content&id=contact&cancel_login
If you scroll down to the 3rd box, the second entry is the Coventry plant.
Failing that, you will have to find a commercial paint supplier. They will have all the codes for the 'mix' to get the right colour paint. Had to do this recently for my truck. If you get really stuck, I can give you the name of the place in Northampton that made up my paint.
