Adding new channels

Hello,

I would like to add some german and other european channels.

For instance the music channel Viva.

Viva

Music TV programmes in German.

Satellite: ASTRA 1G at 19.2E, 11.973GHz V 27500 3/4.

I think i would have to change the frequency within in the add channels tab in the system setup of my sky plus box but i dont want to mess anything up.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks

You will not mess anything up by inputting transponder details via "Add Channels", however if you currently have a standard Sky setup your LNB is not pointing at the Astra satellites located at 19.2E but rather Astra 2A/2B/2C/2D at 28.2E.
that was the worst part about SKY going digital , losing all the foreign channels..i held off as long as i could until i didnt have a choice..
