BMW 325td 'L' 1993 sump drain plug

Could anyone point me in the direction of the sump plug...is it towards the front of the vehicle or do i have to remove the center plastic covering underneath the vehicle to access the drain plug?

the sump plug is at the back of the sump (gearbox end) 17mm spanner/socket required if i remember correctly, if there is a plastic underbelly it may not have to be removed, some cars have a gap cut out on these sepceifically to avoid having to remove it at oil change/service time
