Its dark but still quite mild here at the moment.
Its my last day at work until 29th. Hoping to do some walking in Lakes from this Sat onwards so hope weather is dry at least.

Will you stop reminding me about Christmas lozzylou - it seems only a couple of months since the last one and already the shops have selection boxes and cards on display. I expect your children get excited though - it's different when they're young so I'll forgive you ;)

Good morning bensmum, burston and lozzylou. It's a bit dull and damp here. Not very inspiring! As for Christmas, I've already started my shopping and I've also started making my cards. I make all my Christmas cards and also give some to my mum to sell at the Christmas fayre to raise funds for the Macmillan nurses.

Feeling very sad as my colleague has just phoned to say his Dad has died. Coming on top of the new of Stoke's dad, I am feeling very maudlin!!!

Hi guys. Thanks bensmum and Anteater, I had a fab run. There was nobody about (apart from a few insane early morning dog walkers) and I was up on the clifftops as the dawn broke, which was lovely.

But well done for coming up with such an evocative adjective. I'm sure not many people use the word "maudlin".

(except for Lou in Little Britain, when Andy says ... "But you don't like Finland. You said it has a maudlin quality, making it unsuitable as a holiday destination".)

Pretty dull in Manchester but am quiet suspiciously warm for some reason and got the window wide open and the fan on!

Some of my "my things" the ex is not meant to know about have been thwarted by Royal Mail.

He was off with man flu yesterday and told me on the phone at work my theory test confirmation arrived in the post, hmph!
