Can anyone tell me how I go about looking for a private hospital?

I am not sure of the reason of your problem, as you could ask your GP, look in the telelphone directory or Google BUPA and PPP.

Ask your GP. Chances are, he/she will have to do the referral letter for you anyway, private or not.

They (or their secretary) should know the best consultant to see/hospital to go to, depending on the problem.

I think also, these days, most of the newer NHS hospitals have their own private wings.

Wizard66 - Have you ever thought that I might have not had the chance to reply back? Under the circumstances and the reason why I asked this question was my little sister has a chronic illness that can't be cured - so I do have a lot on my mind and didn't get the chance to reply.
