Dimmer Switch

I am trying to change dimmer light switch in my front room. The old one I have taken off had diferent sysem than the one I have bought. New one has three channels called L1, L2 and something that looks like two arrows. Cables, I have a live and other neutral but with red sleeve on it. Which one goes where? Thanks in advance for the help.

First make sure the main power is OFF,Then confirm the wattage of the lamp is within the capacity of the switch.You cannot dim fluorescent or many low enery lamps
The red sleeved black to L1 the plain red to the other.

L2 is not used for one way switching..Usually a wiring diagram on or in the packaging.
