Just been made redundant and I really don't want to go back to the boring admin/sec jobs I've done in the past. Now,don't get me wrong, I really don't think I'll be turning into mother theresa here, but I would love a job where I could feel I'm helping someone, something a little more rewarding than sending tax returns to the inland revenue!!! Do you do this type of work? Any advice would be really great.

Hiya, I have been a part-time YW in charge for 10 years. I love it. I only do 1 session a week and the members are 8-11 years. Why not make contact with you local DOE and see if they will allow you to visit a session and see what you think.

Good luck!
