a bloke in our block of flats rents his flat out but he has a house over in france and has two vechiles one if english but the other is french plated so he leaves the one with the french plate on here for like six months then he comes back and leaves his other car here and vice versa so he doesnt have to buy car tax is he allowed to do this unair why we have to buy tax just cause our cars are english !!!

no body has to buy car tax in england if the car is off road
I can't see he'd go to such great lengths (having a spare car/driving over from France just to swap cars) just to avoid car tax.
He would have to declare the UK one as SORN and he would without a doubt get caught driving that to and from the port.

There are lots of NPR cameras in force in those areas.
