corsa main beam decides to come on for no reason, have to keep flicking light stalk repeatedly to cancel. any ideas.

just a guess, faulty relay ?

I had to replace one of these (from a breakers, �5) last year. The only tricky bit is removing & replacing the two parts of the shroud which requires a lot of jiggery pokery. Fitting the switch itself is easy (borrow Haynes manual from library).

most likely to be the stalk, easy to replace and around 30 quid to buy from vauxhall, common problem particularly on the corsa B
