The Macpherson report famously branded the police guilty of institutional racism.

The Met Police responded by having a director of diversity. She is now alleging that she was herself the victim of racist bullying.

When these cases go to court or tribunals, they are often proven. The case of Detective Sergeant Gurpal Virdi, where ethnic minority police and civilian staff were subjected to a sickening racist hate mail campaign within Ealing Police. He was wrongly accused and sacked. When the 'evidence' was presented to the tribunal it was laughable. Virdi was awarded 240,000.

There are more cases pending.

The racists in the Police are costing us thousands of pounds. When will the Police get their house in order and start behaving like a responsible employer and root out the racists in their ranks?

There used to be a tough criteria to be met before entering the Police Force...............a significant drop in manpower led to the bar being significantly lowered for those wanting to enter the Police Service.............:o)
What about the obvious solution.

Don't employ ethnic minorities.
There's very little actual racism in the Police. There is however a lot of doo gooding beardy weirdy types claiming lot's of things are racist on behalf of others. There is also a lot of ethnic minority types conning the public because they know our PC enforcement mafia will ensure they do well in the compo stakes.

I don't believe that there is more racism in the police force than there is in any other job. In my opinion its just another money making racket. Play the race card, you can't go wrong.
I can't believe that the police force actually have an organisation called The Black Police Association. How self confessed racist is that??
I know what would happen if there was a White Police Association, there would be total uproar from the Politically Correct Association.

If you knew any serving Police Officer, they would tell you how much their hands are tied regarding dealing with ethnic minorities, and what prority an incident deemed in the least a bit racist, has over other crime.
Today, in an extraordinary and disturbing twist, the Daily Mail can reveal that the flamboyant lawyer at the centre of the campaign which is tearing Scotland Yard apart is a convicted conman with suspect legal qualifications.

Well that explains alot, are they to be trusted?

Where did tetjam outwit anybody? His trademark is to pass short and nasty asides. 1 in 10 of these are amusing, but the rest are plain nasty and fall completely flat.

He may sometimes be witty, he is reliably nasty.

i would have thought that the serial litigant kicking up all the fuss about not getting promotion would have retired on health grounds now with a bad back (like a large percentage of coppers) brought upon by the combined weight of his helmet and the large chip on his shoulder
