has anyone went to see the northern lights or do you know anyone thats been?

i find myself strangely attracted to them and know i have to go and see them? what was the experience like?

I have seen them on a couple of rare occasions. I live in Fife and it is unusual to see them so far south, but when they do show up it's beautiful - like a fire in the sky.

you cant guarantee seeing the northern lights, you are lucky if you visit and these occur!!!!
