Hi there I know this may sound daft at first but is there a bit of software out there which would rotate various programs onto one screen, ie like a screen saver but instead of rotating images every 30 seconds it would rotate various program screens.
We have a large flat panel monitor in work with several program windows on it all the time and it would be nice to just have one program displayed at a time full size. The programs are used for monitoring purposes as apposed data entry etc..

any ideas would be most welcome

Assuming you are referring to computer programs, and you wish to determine when the screen program is changed - not just a random change:

why isn't alt-tab sufficient?
's not going to happen - if it's what I think it is.

if this is a systems monitoring prog ... there is only one window .... which contains several views...... almost the same as having windowed progs .... but different

if it is windowed applications - is this the sort of thing?

There's always the option of a second monitor using a dual head graphics card so you can have one application showing on one monitor and another on the other. This doesn't though solve the multiple applications that you meantion.

thanks for the help so far, I think the solution AC has offered could be a go-er
Another way is to write a simple script in AutoIT.
