Any vehicle of the class relevant to the test being taken that meets legal Construction & Use regulations can be used.

As far as tinting goes, the regulations require that the windscreen transmits 75% of light and the front side windows 70% of light. (Slightly different rules apply for cars manufactured before 1985).

Of course if the windows do not meet these requirements the car shoud not be driven anyway, and can be taken off the road if stopped by the police or a vehicle inspector from VOSA.
If the MOT TEST station did not pass an advisory / failure due to poor visibility through obligatory rear view mirrors, should be fine. Refer to www.motuk.co.uk. testers manual section 8.1 reasons for rejection -d-.and section 8.3 windsreen.Good luck.
Why take the chance this can wind up the examiner before the tests even started.
