I've seen the 1979 film 'Time After Time', is that by the same author?

That sounds promising, but there are may of the same title. The author Jack Finney is the one I`m looking for. Thanks anyway

The film I saw was about Time Travel.

Wasn't Finney's book "Time and Again"? AFAIK, it hasn't been filmed.
