Hi, the service you have just had as you say, its a Interim that will not include checking the Pads, Disks, brake pipes Etc, for a start gudgeon why do you choose to use the Agent? you can get the job done at one of your local Small garages for less money but that is your choice, Your car has done 40000 you might want to think about getting the cars cam belt + tensioners replaced at this time as a rule I would recomend at app 50 to 55000 but that is your choice I would also get the fan/ Power Steering done at the same time you might as well go the full hog this is what I normaly do then it has been done & one less thing to worry about, But back to your Q I would leave it up to 50000 & get the lot done at the same time,.
i agree with TWR leave it for 12months or if it gets to 50000 mls before & get a full service inc plugs, cambelt etc as it has just had a service - if it's a 16valve engine i would recomend maybe getting the cambelt done asap as a precaution, vauxhall recomend them at 40,000mls or 4yrs
