Have you checked the CD? Most logitech products include the manual as a pdf on the CD.

hi rojash
i only have the help on the logitech setpoint cd and nowhere in all that elaborate help file can i see any referral to the mx700 docking point,it was the first place i looked and can't find it on the logitech web site either, guess i'll have to wait to see my nephew who's it was to start with
Ok, I've done a lot of sniffing around, and from what I can work out (I could be wrong!) Logitech also offered combined mouse and keyboard setup. The same docking station is supplied if you just get the mouse. As far as I can make out, the LEDs are caps and function lock indicators.
