condition of the human respiratory system 6 letters A _ T _ _A and edible grains. 4 letters R _C _ these two clues cross and if the first is asthma then it means the second which i thought was rice , has an A in the middle .

I would agree with asthma, but the only grain I can find with an a is oats so this would make your other answers wrong. Sorry!

What puzzles me is that you have already fixed both the A's in A?T??A, so where is the third one coming from that prevents the grain from being RICE?

At which letter do they cross over?

they cross on the last letter of thr 6 letter word and the second letter of the 4 letter word . i think all my other answers to the clues are correct .
