I want to say a BIG thankyou to my parents for all the stuff theyve done for me - but i want it to be something a little unique! I dont mind spending abit of cash - any ideas anyone? a thankyou card is okay, but i wanted something to real make my point! By the way - their THE best parents in the world!

hmmm good idea - im still thinking about it but they like going for days out and stuff (hehe their turning into a right old couple - bless!) i was thinking of paying for a room for the weekend at one of those posh caslte places with those really big gardens? what do you think? their both in their 50's.
this is a much cheaper idea but I bought my dad one of those personalised newspaper articles that had on the front page 'worlds best dad!' You could get a whole variation of them and change the words and put in photos. It was a little tacky but my dad was very touched. I also once got my mum one of those message in a bottle things and again it was personalised to her saying everything I wanted to say.
castle and gardens sounds great..im sure they will love it!!! Hope my son does something like that for me when he grows up!!!

well its wierd to be honest - the more ive grown up the more ive come to appreciate the things they do for me - ill probably be living with them for like...ever anyway - but their really supportive and helpful - just wanted a really nice way to show them my appreciation
Your parents must be very special - how else would you have grown up to be so kind and thoughtful? Whatever you choose to do for them I know it will be the right thing.
Subscription to National Trust or English Heritage then they could choose lots of days out for free entry?
