Does anyone know what Millstone accommodation in Endcliffe village, Sheffield is like? I think it might be quite new, so I guess asking might be pointless. But if anyone has any idea then thanks

I can't help directly because it's (very) many years since I got my degree at Sheffield Uni.

However, I've just taken a look at the map to check out exactly where this new accommodation is.

Obviously, I can't tell you about the accommodation itself (although, knowing Sheffield Uni, I'd expect it to be of a high standard), but I can tell you that it's superbly situated. It's in a popular and safe area of the city (which commands quite high house prices). There are loads of parks, open spaces, gardens, etc, close by and a short walk (down to Ecclesall Road at Hunter's Bar) will give you easy access, by bus, into the Peak District National Park.

More importantly (unless students have changed a great deal from my day!) there are plenty of good pubs in the area and you can get to the city centre (to enjoy the nightlife?) very easily. (If you actually want to attend a lecture or two, from time to time, the main campus is also easy to get to).

Anywhere in the Endcliffe Village would be ideal but, if it's new (and therefore likely to be of a higher standard), so much the better. Go for it!
