Coloured streamer things on doors

hi all, does anyone know what the colour streamer things people put on their doors to keep flies out/ stop drafts are called, and where would we get them?

And depending on where you live Kat - there's a little shop in Belper high street which sells them for less than �2.

No good at all if you live down south....or even right up north.....

The ones I picked up weren't the beaded things - just those cheap plasticky ones - but they might keep the huge wasps out a bit!

Sorry, but they look so cheap and in the 60s style, why don't you buy a decent fly screen for about �15.00?

Is that to me? You're right, they look revolting - lol - but won't be needed for very long. It was just something that I picked up when I was noseying around this amazing little shop that seemed to sell everything - at the lowest prices I'd ever seen.

We have a prob with these wasps, and since I'm allergic to stings, anything's worth a try, believe me!

That's the type of thing, terambulan - only mine was �1. 99p i think!!! As Rtaxron says, I think they look hideous, but at least it's just at the back (no one could see it anyway), and appears to be working. I can spot a wasp zooming my way from the bottom of the drive. I hate the things.
