I've got to get my old banger MOT'ed but at the moment the MOT costs more than the car! Anyone know of any MOT special offers?

I've never seen a promotion for a discounted MOT unless it's in conjunction with something else (say buy a service and get the MOT half price kind of deal), which isn't very cost effective for you....

depends where you are, here in Milton Keynes there is a guy doing saturday MOTs for �20.00..! and �35.00 mon-fri,

Whats more Important a Fake MOT ( Which no.one will risk to loose their Licence) Or your life? With respect If your car is not worth �45.00 Scrap it and get a fresh one or P/X your car.

I am wary of those offering cheap tickets, they may find lots of simple faults.

you cant get a "fake" mot nowadays, the certificate is not evidence of an mot any longer, the record on the vosa database is. wouldnt be worth the hassle for the garage nowadays

BILLYBB garages offering cheap MOT's dont carry out a different test to those charging full price, you cant decide how stringent a test you carr out on a car depending on the price you charge, every MOT station has a set of guidelines to follow reg testable items and minimum road legal standard of these testable items, although i will admit that when i was doing them i found some of the information from VOSA rearding this contradictory and a waste of time
