I need to move the 6 burner smeg oven in my kitchen in order to tile. When we bought the house the oven was there so we did not put it in. It seems impossible to move. Is there a tool we could use to easily move it a few feet from the wall?

A pallet truck springs to mind , but don't know where you could borrow one from
tilt back and pull towards you. they normally have rollers at the rear. Make sure you unhook the chain if it has one and try not to yank the gas hose.

It's happy where it is,,,,,if it works, don't fix it.........Why not tile around it as ur hardly going to pull it out often to clean tiles behind it?
you could cut some broom handles in half, tilt the oven back and place some of the broom handles under it while pulling the oven forward on the broom handle rollers.

Thank you for your help. I got a big strong man to tilt it as suggested and it has moved.
