Does anyone know of anywhere I could buy the above, either online or somewhere in Scotland please? (Could travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow, or anywhere in between!)

I tried to find it where i usually buy stuff, and a little bit tricky. But apparently:
"Cassava starch = yuca flour = manioc flour = tapioca flour. If you cannot find it, process pearl tapioca in the food processor until it is ground to flour"

A caribean supermarket might stock it, of which there is apparently one in glasgow in the Alrlington Street area, next to Woodlands.

You can buy yuca flour (which is apparently the same stuff) at
http://www.cubanfoodmarket.com/
They do ship to the uk.
Hope this helps!
For a possible glasgow shop try:
Solly's Exotic fruits and other edibles
381 Great Western Road Glasgow G4 9HY
T: +44 141 337 1338

They can probably point you in the right direction, even if they dont stock it!

Thanks loads for your help, Cassimer. I was really struggling with this one, even to get a starting point. I know that area of Glasgow quite well too, so will take a trip through. Thanks again!

Maybe we're leading spooky parallel lives - we seem to know the same places! Lol
