there are no fualts i would say that are unique to Peugeot, although when i worked on the euro 7 taxis (peugeot expert van really) they did go through a few air con pumps but bearing in mind these were hammered 24 hours a day 7 days a week. did kwik-fit do a vacuum test for a leak when they serviced it? did they replace any compressor/pump oil that would have been drawn out the system during a vacuum check??

Thanks Dave, KF told me they checked for leaks and they found none, BUT then said "That doesn't mean there aren't any" ????? So they have offered to do another re gas for me.
its amazing how many garages asume gas / regas will solve all air con problems....
why dont they vacuum check the system before a re-gas?? that way they will know if its got a leak or not before they try and pump it full of refrigerant!! bloody kwik fit butchers and bakers repairing cars, there was a day when even experienced car mechanics couldnt touch air-con it had to be a refrigeration engineer that carried out any service/repair work. this cars air con system i would imagine should hold around 500-600 grams of R134A gas, check the vin plate or there will be a sticker on the landing panel, presuming there isnt a leak, if they havent fully recharged the system with the correct amount of gas then it wont work properly.
