I have just got back from my hols and some of the pics saved on the SD card used in my Casio EX V7 camera have corrupted. I get the message on the camera screen saying the file cannot be played. I've downloaded the images (good and corrupt ones) and the sizing of the image is there but no image itself. I've used InfranView to try to open them but it says they are PCD files!!!! The camera manual does not say anything about why this should happen and it happened on two different memory cards. The strange thing was that it had not run out of room or memory. Any ideas please as to whether I can save these images? Thank you ABers!!!

Hi,
You could try this software used to recover lost or deleted files on memory cards. You may be able to recover enough info to rebuild the images. This is freeware and doesn't require any payment.

Other than that.... Irfanview can open .pcd files if you've downloaded the (free) plugin package for that program.
