Can anyone recommend a simple, safe means for sharing family digital photos with other family members via the web? As a bit of background, I tried before (can't remember the package), thinking only those I invited would have access but ended up getting requests from strangers to view the photos.
Thanks

Flickr allows you to filter who can see what group of photos - for example, you may be happy for workmates to see some of your photos, but want your family to be able to see others as well.

Flickr's my recommendation.

Very easy to use, free to upload lots of photos (with some monthly limit), and only about 13/year for as many photos as you want.

You can also set photos to be for friends and/or family only. Once your friends/family sign up (free, again), you can specify them as able to view those photos.

For public photos anyone can see them, of course.
Another option is drop.io
I use http://picasa.google.com Free and easy!
