There isn't a maximum temperature only a minimum - looks like you have to stay there :o)

Have a (probably melting) malteser - then you won't feel quite so naughty!

tee hee, can just picture it! an office full of stuffy Lawyers - what a sight that would be!!!!!!!!!!!! Better than the advert I reckon!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
You work in a law office but get answers on employment law here?
Its 85 degrees in our office at the moment and there haven't even been any mentions of buying us any fans!

There should be a law, I heard somewhere that they were trying to get a law introduced which was 85 degrees for office staff and 81 degrees for workers doing physical labour.

Naked....melting malteasers?! I think this should be posted somewhere else! Lol!

Do you honestly think my Employers would answer such a question? They are probably the worst offenders in any work place....Never mind, will battle on, as has the rest of the country!
The trouble round here is that when we get anything like a comfy temperature someone always moans they are smegging cold! Anyone would think jumpers are illegal or something!
Kim,

I too work in a Lawyers and totally agree with you about them being the worst offenders when it comes to anything like the temperature in the workplace.

thanks fadeout73, at least somebody understands how "difficult" they can be!!!!!!!!!!!
After working for the last 10 years in a glass fronted office, freezing in winter , burnt to death in summer , I recently moved offices to a purpose built place , now got air con , i now work far more efficiently as I am not drained through heat exhaustion..mind you I may be tempted to turn it off if I thought the secratary would start stripping off a little lol
