The Olympic games are wonderful, just watch all those athletes who've trained hard for 4 years, only to lose out in the heats or come 4th in the finals and 'just' miss out on a medal.

The whole idea of the Olympics fills me with utter dread. Well dread is a bit strong, but I just know we are going to be bombarded on every blummin tv and radio channel with it, when frankly, I am not really interested.

And I buy British (apart, perhaps, from a german car!!!)
