neither can I...my husband has to edit the newspapers before I read them...if there's anything about animal cruelty and I can't fix it then I don't want to know..

It's people dressing guinea pigs up in clothes and parading them along the street. Poor guinea pigs, they don't look happy.
It also mentioned something about a feast using the guinea pigs after the festival which is why I can't watch.

not condoning it, but people do it to their dogs too.
But even those idiots don't usually eat the dog afterwards
this reminds me of cuzco last year. Oh how my stomach is rumbling.
In Peru they eat guinea pigs just as we (sometimes) eat hare or rabbit. In fact, my manager went a holiday in Peru and had guinea pig for a meal. But to dress them up in fancy costumes and display them as lovable pets first - that does seem a bit sick!
