I'm organising an 'England' theme fundraising evening and I'm looking for songs that people can sing along with. I've got the songs from Last Night of the Proms, but I would like other well-known songs from any era. I want to keep it lively, so 'Greensleeves' is definitely out. I've thought of 'Roll out the Barrel', and The Beatles 'When I'm 64', but now I'm stuck, so any suggestions will be very welcome. Thank you.

England - by the Angelic Upstarts
Although it's not English at all, I'd recommend throwing in some Leonard Cohen just to see how people react. That's always fun - the looks it inspires in people are just hilarious.
