Hi sheri!!!! if you want to chat, us lot are all here for youxx
Why did you not learn to drive? I thought the age of the non-driving woman stopped in the 60's? I'm saying this because having a car affords you so much freedom, liberation and accessibility to get out and not rely on second-rate public transport, or rely on anyone else having to give lifs. I am wondering if your husband was/is the controlling type and didn't want you to drive?
I was a single mother for a time myself and just threw myself into child raising and not thinking about my situation too much. You are strong because we women are strong, no matter what we choose to believe. You will survive and you will cope. You have never been 'alone' so to speak, as you married so young, so the newness is way, way out of your comfort zone. The feelings you have are because you have been thrown into an independence that you don't recognise and really don't want, so you feel like you are standing on a rock in the middle of a storm swept ocean, with nothing around you for miles.
You have to try to accept your situation and live one day at a time.
I feel so badly for you and I wish I could help. Thinking about you. Take care.
So sorry for you. No real answers but having been through a recent bout of depression bought on by pressures of work and boredom I can say things do get better. The old saying "what doesnt kill you makes you stronger" is a cliche but so true. Look to your friends and family. if you dont have any or dont feel able too - then get some good counselling - your G.P should have recommend one with your prescription - if not ask your doctor for advice.

Above all - stay strong and caring for your children - when i felt like harmomg myself my children were the reason why i realised that to hurt myself would mena hurting them and indeed they are the reason why i was born and why i live.

I always finds either a 200 gram bar of chocoloate and a bottle of wine helps !

all the best

Thanku everyone for ur comfort! I was doing ok till he came round now im all confused again!
I do love him, but i cant cope with the situation we r in, everything that needs to be done to put things right i just cant do at the mo, i feel so broken and any strength i have left i use to stay together myself! If i fall apart then it will be bad, with my medical probs i dont kno if i could bring myself back, if i let this situation break me further it would be so bad for me!
He says im being selfish, thinking of myself and what i need, not how he feels or what he needs, maybe i am, but is that so wrong?? Should i be putting him, and the kids first and let him back in, do what he wants so they will be happy at my own expense??????????????????
I absolutely agree with the previous reply. You must feel very scared and alone, but things WILL get better. Try to avoid rushing into another relationship as you are in a vulnerable position at the moment and you might choose someone who is wrong for you. As the previous person said take it one day at a time. I really feel for you and I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts for the future. I'm sure you will find the strenght within yourself to move towards a better and brighter future for yourself and your daughters. As someone else said earlier there really are advantages in being single (I'm sure that must sound rediculous at this moment in time, but things will gradually change with time).
