Hi,
I have recently bought a 32 Inch LCD Flat Screen TV and I believe its a widescreen as its long.
Anyway, my question is that when I watch films on it, it has huge thick black blocks above and below the picture (i.e widescreen) but I thought my TV was widescreen so surely the picture should fit the TV screen? I am being stupid or is there something I have not got ryt on the TV set up?

There must be a way to change the picture size. Have a read of the manual and see if it tells you how to change the picture size. I'm sure it can't be the telly x
Look in the manual for the words 'Aspect Ratio'.This is the relationship between picture height and picture width. The manual should tell you how to change the ratio to get the picture to fit the screen. This ratio will change according to which channel you're watching, and sometimes even with different programmes on the same channel.
