Ok, we all know what it's like.. a little virus turns into a whole load of different types of viruses. More, more, more. They're breeding I tell you!

Anyway... I have downloaded many different virus removers, they all tell me I have like 70-something viruses on my pc, but they won't remove them unless I pay for it... so I have paid for one 'Spybot' it's called.

It says that it has deleted viruses and stuff, but I know there are still LOADS on here... it doesn't seem to be working efficiently.

I have trojens, spyware, adware.. all of it.
Can anyone help me? Please?

I can only get on a web page by going into 'start'... 'search'... 'search the internet'.. and then type in the address there. I can't use internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

I'd much appreciate anyone's help. You'd be my life saver.

:)

Thank you for reading, and any replies. x

You have been downloading rogue applications, to make things worse. Some even install the malware they claim to find.

Yes.. that's exactly what I thought..... How can I get rid of them all?
Spybot is a free program; if you've paid for it at best you've been ripped off, at worst sold something that has made things worse.

Anyway, I would suggest uninstalling the "Spybot" you have, and replacing it with the one from http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/in dex.html . Update it and apply immunization, but do not run it yet.

Boot into "Safe Mode" (press F8 during startup), this should ensure that only essential services are running. Then run Spybot and get it to fix anything it finds.

What Antivirus (if any) are you running? If none, download ONE OF Avast, AVG or Antivir (all have free versions) and perform the above procedures.

Thank you so much for helping, I'll give that a go now, and get back to you.

I have Norton antivirus... but I'l download one of the ones you offered. Thank you.
Also try these - all free, all very good:

A2 http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/

and

AdAware http://www.filehippo.com/download_ad-aware/

Let us know how things go. I have a feeling you will require more help, but at the moment we can only guess at what is on your computer which isnt a safe way to do things.
Let us know what is found for example, infection names.

I will let you all know.

Update at the moment is that I uninstalled SpyBot... and I noticed straight away that it got worse.. so it MUST have been doing something. Still it was rather ineffective, so hopefully one of these ones will help.

I'll let you know.
You`ll need to remove Norton, if you`re going to download one of the others. You should never have more than one AV programme as they conflict.
Just one thing. if you install Spybot S&D now, do not enable the TeaTimer function. It will protect the bad reg entries from changing and you will get nowhere.
