Thank you for your answers. ACAAC- is mentioned twice in competition. One is Cool as a cucumber, but what else could it be?

Only thing I can think of is:-
As clear as a crystal but that's just generally without the second 'a'. Baffled!
Someone suggested "as crooked as a corkscrew"
