There were some books we read at first school and they were about 'Sebastian, the magic Cat' that's all I remember - that would have been about 20 years ago - anyone any idea what they were??

Sorry - just answered my own question - they were called "Tim and the Hidden People" if anyone is interested.  I remember absolutely loving them x

Oh my god. Those books were fantastic! I was actually trying to remember the name of them the other day!! Do you know who wrote them and if they're still available to buy perchance?

Wonderful weren't they!! I remembered them when Harry Potter first came out.  Some of them are available, but when i was looking for it yesterday, it looks as though some are no longer published.

Thanks for that.  I also found this site www.timandthehiddenpeople.moonfruit.com which says you buy them all directly from the publisher for a fiver each (not including p+p) - all the details are under 'Further Information'.

By accident I found a site with Tim and the Hidden People books for sale just before I read this question. The site is www.dottybug.co.uk I'd never heard of them before but I was researching puddle lane books by the same author, Sheila McCullough. You've got me interested now and I might have to get one just to see if they're really any good!
