I'm thinking of learning to drive as I have access to a car.

Does anyone know of any good off road places round the Manchester area I can practice, especially manoevres and such off the public highway somewhere quiet?

Trafford Park industrial estate, its big enough that I imagine there must be some fairly quiet areas evenings/weekends.
