Hi all

Just found this on the BBC EDF energy are putting gas up by 22% and Electricity up by 17%.

How long before the others follow,

Talking to a work pal yesterday we both said the same what about the elderly and the infrimed.

Maybe there is some correlation between these high bills and Labour doing badly at by-elections. Weasel words about they know how we feel are not enough. What about ploughing that �30 million agreed this week to go to the destitute Africans be diverted into our deserving poor. Shouldn't charity start at home?
Yes, people starving to death and people not being able to afford a couple of pints this week are very comparable.

Frankly, with the price of practically all essentials rising, I dread to think how families on low income, and the elderly surviving on a minimum state pension will manage this winter.
It's a pity wages don't rise at 20% per annum to meet the rises in privatised profits
