:( i don't travel, no money, time or companions :( they were my sons for a school trip and he came back with more euro's than he took. School gave them lunch money.
keep them for the next school trip then you wont need to exchange any ;o)

I took 25 euros to the PO yesterday and they changed them to sterling for free . I recieved 18 something btw.
I'd keep them unless you really need it for something, as I don't think the exchange rate is great at the moment.

Thanks for your answers, the Post Office it was but they don't exchange change so 18.57 for 25euro that cost me 21.87 to buy.
As you mention the exchange rate above, this may sound really thick but in shops the price tag has the price in both and euro's so how can that stay the same if the exchange rate changes?
