My 54 reg Focus radio/cd has died. I have checked the fuse and it's OK. before the cost of going to a Ford dealer, can anyone tell me if these units have an internal fuse, or will I need to replace the whole thing? I wonder if it might be cheaper to get a non-Ford unit?

i would remove radio first if possible & check if it has it's own fuse at the back not sure on these but most radio's do have them.if the fuse/fuse's are ok then check if there is power supply to the radio with ignition on.if there is radio maybe dead.
