Do you really mean to say you don't understand what "provocative" and "contrived" mean?

I think Lucy Thomas might take issue with "other duplicate" which is a semantic impossibility.

It used to be fun until the clever twtas started pi55ing about with italics and banning etc.

I still think it is fun but that's me.

I would call this place a hotbed of tension, some evenings you can almost hear the ed sobbing herself to sleep at the continual hi-jinks

I have on my computer 2 physical threats from 2 members. They are still on and havent been banned. I think it is acceptable to do that. To put people in fear of their life must be acceptable so I cant see that the itallics will have any relevance at all

hope this helps
Yes it is a forum. It is a forum with a theme, the theme being that it is a Q and A site to share knowledge.
It wouldnt be classified as a forum on a directory listing tho because it doesnt display its members/post count like a typical forum does and is required for these type of sites.

But a forum is, by name, a place for debate and discussion and to some degree that is what happens on this forum, albeit regarding a particular subject matter which is asking a question, receiving an answer or answers.

The Chatterbank section is more "typical forum" than the rest of the site. This is probably why people regard it as a chat forum. As it allows discussion and debate more than the other sections which are more dependant on subject matter.
