I'm the old school that didn't learn metrics.

Thus, bottled water is 1.98p and petrol is 119p per litre
Thats only if you buyt 2 x 500ml bottles. Chances are you will buy 1 x 1ltr at about �1.10 ish.

Thats if you had any sense of course.
Probably not. There will be some that don't yet know that 'milli' means a one-thousandth.

my customer all buy 1 small bottle at a time...have a sip and bin them.......I work in the local hospital shop so staff and patients use our shop. We're dearer than a supermarket but the nearest SM would be a 5mile drive!
yes, but that based on costs in your shop. what about somewhere like Lidls, Nett or Aldi where you could probably buy a 2L bottle of water for like 50p, therefore its not a fair comparison to make
