The shop stands on the corner of North Parade and Broad Street in Grantham, Lincolnshire. A plaque is mounted on the front of the building to mark the singular importance of the premises. Alfred Roberts (Margaret Thatcher's father) died on 10th February, 1970, and her mother, Beatrice Stephenson Roberts, died on 11th September, 1960.
