How can I delete e-addresses I don't want in the Windows Mail drop-down when
composing an e-mail???

In Outlook, you would just scroll down, highlight the name, and hit 'Delete'.

This seems to work in Windows Mail (it DOES delete the name), but the minute
you close/re-open the program the name is back there its not in contacts..

Go to your 'inbox' and click Contacts. left hand side of screen, this will show all your contacts. Tick the boxes of those you wish to remove, and then click Delete at the top (with the red cross) I just tried it and it worked. -)
