Chrysler Neon ( Grinding Noise )

I have a Chrysler Neon Automatic when i am stationary with the car in Neutral or Park i can hear a constant grinding noise you can feel the vibrations in the rear seats , i cant work out wether it is coming from underneath or from the engine , if anybody has any ideas i would be very grateful

its a long shot but given that your stationary when it happens it seems more like a gearbox problem, I have not heard it but I would check your gearbox idling parts for wear
