A few years back I watched a programme about a steam train journey in a place called something like Mulag in SCOTLAND? I've tried different variations of this name on Google, but only Germany shows up. Can anyone help please?

Hi Smudge - I think it might be Mallaig you are looking for check out this link http://www.visitscotland.com/library/tenthings?version=1
Definitely Fort William to Mallaig. Great journey except when we did it by steam it was raining so hard you couldn't see much at all. We then did it again in an 'ordinary' train. Not so romantic but the views were much better! Even better when you get the ferry across to Skye.

Jules & jaywhybee - Thank you both so much - you have made my day! Brilliant website too jay. We are looking forward to visiting Scotland in the spring, in particular a journey on a steam train from Fort William to 'Mullaig'. -x-
