Is there any settings you can on Nero 6 if you are burning a VCD so that you can fit a film which is slightly over 700MB onto a single blank CD?

Have you tried it? Nero usually gives an option to 'overburn' but with a warning about it might not be playable?

Why VCDs in this age of cheap blank DVDs?

Don't have a dvd writer.

BTW, have you seen how cheap DVD writers are now? Don't know your financial situation tho'.

Even dual-layer is within reach.
