Skype problem

I've been trying to invite a friend to play backgammon with me on Skype. We have played often before but today she doesn't get my invites & I don't get hers . We've tried inviting each other with chat but no joy there either . Neither has changed anything on respective machines . Help pls

Skype is unreliable. Some days its fine, others either you can't get on or it throws you off after a bit. It's a great system and hats off to the Danish (?) guy that developed it but it needs fine tuning.

Try logging on tomorrow it may be ok by then.

That's odd. I rely totally on Skype as I don't have a landline - it has never been unreliable for me.

I use for all my phone calls, instant messaging and texting to mobile phones.

Has your firewall recently updated?

No , using we're both using Windows built in firewall. She's gone away for a few days so will have to try next week
