A couple of years ago there was ad ad for (i think) the 206 or 307 possibly. The song used was 'true colours'. On the comercialbreaksandbeats website it says they used the cyndi lauper version, but i didnt think it was her. Am i imagining this? Can anyone confirm what version was used?

Hello

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember the advert, and I believe it was Phil de Collins singing the True Colours song.  This was/is a cover of Cyndi's (greatly superior) version but I seem to remember that was what was used.  Hope I'm not dreaming...

At any rate, the original true colours was written and sung by cyndi, and has gone on to be covered by several people, including Mr Collins.

It wasn't Cyndi lauper for definite or Phil Colins. I have been looking for years to find out who sang it. But im pretty sure now it was a child or a childs choir.
